Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the RAGSell dashboard, installing the widget script, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using RAGSell on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

RAGSell crawls content from a website you control, builds a knowledge base, and provides an embeddable chat (and, where enabled, voice) widget that answers visitor questions and captures leads. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use of the service.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use RAGSell.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Install the widget on a website you do not own or control.
• Submit content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or that is defamatory, obscene, or malicious.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
• Use the service to collect sensitive personal data (including health, financial, or government-ID data) from visitors.

5. Intellectual Property

RAGSell and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by us. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service. You retain all rights to the content you provide.

6. Customer Content and Data

You grant us a license to crawl, store, process, and index your website content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to that content and for the accuracy of answers your configured knowledge base produces. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

RAGSell relies on third-party providers to deliver the service, including AWS Bedrock (language models), OpenAI (embeddings), Deepgram and Cartesia (voice, where enabled), LiveKit (voice transport), and MongoDB Atlas (data storage). Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing and configuring your knowledge base. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RAGSell will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the courts located in Pakistan.
